2021 Girlan Patricia Pinot Noir Alto Adige, Italy
(92 points) A stunning translucent ruby color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Patricia wafts up from the glass with a pretty blend of dusty rose, cedar shavings and dried strawberries. This is lifted and refined, with cooling acidity and plush textures offset by a core of tart red berry fruits. Savory spice hints form toward the close. Graceful to the very end, the 2021 tapers off gently, tannic and long, leaving sour cranberry and licorice traces to linger.
