2014 MERLOT

Our Merlot fruit comes from two blocks atop a

knoll in the famed Hyde Vineyard, where

harvests typically yield less than two tons per

acre. It’s a youthful wine that’s invitingly

approachable, while still offering the richness

and decadence we love.

OUR TASTING NOTES

The 2014 Merlot evokes classic black cherry,

wild plum and cocoa that dominate the

bouquet. Subtle hints of dried rose petal

support the enticing aromatics. Luxurious

tannins give structure to the lush berry fruit,

warm nutmeg spice and creamy milk

chocolate finish.

Blend: Merlot 92% • Cabernet Sauvignon 8%

Winemaking: Whole berry fermented and

aged 22 months in 70% new French oak

Bottling: Bottled unfiltered and unfined

Alcohol: 14.4%
