2012 Hilliard Bruce Rose

Winery Notes: Rose is the most recent addition to our line up. It is a wine of neccessity. It satisfies and satiates a primal need to take fine wine out into the world. To hike up mountains, and float down rivers. To explore and be rewarded for all the hard work. This is by far our smallest production wine, only yielding 100 cases a year. Made in the Saignee technique, this is the first wine to finish fermenting, the first wine to go into bottle, and the first wine to disappear out of stock. Only offered early in the spring this wine much like its color and nose, is ephemeral. Temporary and delicate. Fleeting and delicious.
