2010 Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Tre Tine

I tasted two casks of 2010 Barolo Brunate. The first is pure Brunate, and it is magnificent, with expressive inner perfume and layers of sweet, resonant fruit that captivate all the senses. Pure seduction. The second cask is mostly Brunate with some Le Coste blended in. This is a much darker, powerful and structured Barolo, with huge tannins and big, broad shoulders. This first cask is outstanding, but the second is truly magnificent. I can't wait to taste the 2010 once it has been bottled. From cask, the component wines are insanely vivid ant thrilling.
