2020 Babylonstoren Babel Red Wine Simonsberg Paarl South Africa

A blend of Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in the blend and the nose here reflects a good amount of ripe berry pie like fruit, fine herbs, a pretty floral quality and black pepper spice on the nose wtih a light smoky nuance.  A good amount of red and black berry fruit here on the tongue with ripe round tannins and a lovely freshness to the finish, dark coco and that spice and floral character from the nose lingering through the finish.  Finish 35+  Very Good +
