A blend of indigenous varieties (40% Viosinho, 20% Malvasia Fina, 15% Gouveio, 15% Códega, 10% Arinto) all of which have been farmed in the higher reaches and plateaus of the Duoro region for generations. The hand-picked grapes were fermented at around 17°C for three weeks, each parcel was treated separately, after a brief maturation the final wine is blended. On the nose the wine shows white fruits, such as melon and pear, alongside vegetal notes; the palate is just dry with plenty of richness from the ripe fruit flavours....
