2022 Banfi Rosso Di Montalcino Poggio Alle Mura

This is a colonal selection and a new label from Banfi only the eight release of this wine aged in 350 liter barrique made by Gamba. Has a wonderful intensity on the nose wild strawberry fruit, pretty floral notes and light smoky toasty oak spice along with fresh plowed earth, fine herbs, nice complexity for a Rosso. A very juicy wine with lots of red berry fruit, a good hand of that earth and floral notes from the nose through the finish and wonderful structure for a Rosso. finish 40+ Excellent
