2018 Podere Le Ripi Amore & Magia Brunello di Montalcino

Lots of fresh earth, herbs, porcini and wild strawberry fruit very intense and black licorice spice, ashphalt like quality, from the eastern side in CastelNuovo near Poggio Di Soto, only 15,000 bottles.  Lovely richness and concentration on the tongue with some dry tannins on the finish with a pronounced earthy quality to the finish, dark spices, this wine needs time.  Finish 50+           Most Excellent +
