2016 Chateau La Croix des Pins Gigondas Les Dessous des Dentelles

Even better than the 2015, the 2016 Gigondas Les Dessous des Dentelles is a fine effort, perfumed like flowering garrigue, it then moves into red fruit on the full-bodied palate. It's supple, not overly rich, but fresh and peppery, with a mouthwatering finish outlined by silky tannins. (JC)   Review Date: 08/2018
