2021 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Olivet Lane

Olivet Lane Pinot Noir was the first vineyard designated wine produced under the Merry Edwards label back in 1997. We are so pleased to be able to continue to produce single-vineyard wines from this legendary vineyard. Planted in 1975 by the Pellegrini family and nurtured by multiple generations, we know we can count on these longtime partners to meet our exacting standards. This classically elegant Russian River Pinot Noir hits the mark each vintage, and the 2021 bottling will not disappoint you!

This is classic Olivet Lane, with aromas of cherries, violets and fresh strawberries along with subtle earthy notes of forest floor and mushroom. The entry is round and lush, balanced on the palate overall a well-structured wine supported by oak. A dusting of pretty brown spice and a hint of cream soda linger on the finish. Given some time in the bottle, this elegant and engaging wine will continue to develop for years to come.
