Winemaker Notes This vintage of Cabernet Franc is more opulent than versions past. The beautiful fragrance of Cabernet Franc is redolent of violets, tobacco leaf, and blackberries. A very weighty palate is more associated with riper Cabernet Sauvignon than the more delicate Franc – so this will pair beautifully with richer braised meat dishes.
