2010 Domaine Nerantzi Koniaros Serres Greece

They are the only ones to have this varietal which has small berries and doesn't produce much in terms of yields, only 330 6pks per year.  This wine has a unique bouquet with Balkan Oak, wild yeast with wild flowers, sagrantino like tannins, a green minty herbal note, smoky meaty savage like character, very complex bouquet of aromas, red plum, cherry and black raspberry fruit.  Wow an amazing wine with an array of herbs, spices, minty floral notes with fine tannins very long and becoming a bit dry at the end but has lots of fruit, holding up nicely on the second day.  Finish 50+    Most Excellent
