2001 Feudi di San Gregorio Serpico Aglianico MAGNUM

.(95 points) At over 20 years old now, this 2001 is starting to mellow. Dried black fruits and a touch of meatiness marry together with fragrant potpourri and intense, almost jammy red fruits. Fine, sandy tannins and good acidity bracket the fruit and lead to a succulent and very aromatic finish of forest berries and dried fruits, with touches of cream, leather and wood.
