Deep violet. Intensely perfumed spice- and mineral-accented aromas of fresh dark berries, cherry pit and incense. Emphatically fruity and expansive on the palate, offering juicy blackberry and boysenberry flavors that deepen and spread out steadily with aeration. A jolt of acidity energizes the mineral-laced finish, which hangs on with outstanding, gently tannic persistence.
