Matured in around 40% new French oak for 12 months, the 2020 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir has arresting aromas of yellow peach, honeycomb, allspice and flint with exotic touches of guava and jasmine. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and expansive with highly concentrated, spicy fruit, seamless acidity and a long finish loaded with mouth-coating flavors. (EB)   Review Date: 02/2023
