“Apartado” coming from the Spanish verb “apartar”, which means “that is set apart” or “set aside” from the rest. The composition of the wines varies each year depending on the best barrels of the harvest. The Apartado range represents the true richness of the vineyards in the Uco Valley. This is their top of the line in the Chardonnay section and is a blend of; 90% Chardonnay, 7% Semillón and 3% Pinot Grigio. The Chardonnay is from Tupungato, Semillón from Tupungato, Pinot Grigio from La Consulta, Mendoza. The Rutini Apartado Gran Chardonnay is robust, yet fresh blend representing the best of white varietals of the harvest. The grapes for this wine were carefully selected and hand-picked at peak maturity, developing rich tropical fruit flavors, and aromas in perfect balance with crisp acidity.
