NV Champagne Henri Giraud Rose Dame Jane

(92 Points) The NV Rosé Dame Jane is the new entry-level Rosé from Henri Giraud. Sweet tobacco, dried flowers, cinnamon and dried cherry all flesh out in the glass. The Dame-Jane is a very pretty wine done in a slightly more oxidative, burnished style than is common at Giraud. The blend is 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, with 6% still Aÿ Pinot, vinified in oak and terra cotta. There is lovely precision, tension and class here. Dosage is 7.5 grams per liter.
