Winemaker’s Notes: The debut of our 2018 Proprietary Red Wine upholds the legacy of our illustrious founder with a blend of grapes from both Napa and Sonoma. The Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested from valley floor vineyards within Napa Valley while the Merlot grapes are from the northern reaches of Sonoma. A bouquet of dark fruit aromas, black currants and cinnamon greet the nose. Flavors of black cherry, plum and baking spice are complemented by a kiss of oak. This is a rich and structured wine with fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity and a savory finish.

Aging 15 months in a combination of French, Hungarian and American oak, 25% new Varieties
