2014 Heritance Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Napa

From one of the most famous vineyards in Napa and they have a 20 year contract on this plot which spends 24 months in 100% new French oak.  This wine has an intense bouquet of cassis, black currant berry fruit, espresso and dark earth with mocha, minty, dark coco notes very complex bouquet with many extra layers coming out as the wine opens.  A big and chewy wine on the tongue, very concentrated and rich with an incredible display of toasty oak spice, rich berry fruit and a firm hand of acidity, this is a big but quite balanced wine that will require some time but has all the right stuff here in proportion, notes of dark chocolate, espresso through the long layered finish.  Finish 50+             KILLER
