2011 Rudd Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Oakville Napa

A blend of 55 CS 35 CF and the rest Malbec and Petite Verdot aged for 24 months and only 700 cases produced, this wine has a good concnetration of dark currant and cassis berry fruit on the nose with notes of sweet tobacco spice, dark chocolate, fine herbs and more. Dense and rich onthe tongue with a nice amount of fruit here for a 2011, this wine has a ton of earth and spice on the finsih and fine tannins, very silky with lovely structure and depth of flavors and a long layered finish. finish 50+ Most Excellent +
