2011 Emblem Oso Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa

Petite Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend more classic Napa mountain fruit, this is from the same ranch as the Emblem. A good amount of dark cherry and cassis berry fruit with notes of dark chocolate, violet floral notes, dark chocolate notes, very complex bouquet of aromas along wiht a strong mineral/earthy component. A big and chewy wine with lots of dark currant and cassis berry fruit on the tongue lots of tannins but ripe and round with a good hand of spice and fresh earth/mineral notes through the finish.
