This is from contracted fruit on Spring Mountina one of the few wines that they make from fruit the Jackson Family does not own, they only make around 150 cases of this wine. The vinification is roughly the same 19-22 months of vinification in French oak, barrel fermented using indigenous yeasts, they are all 100% varietal and they do use different clones on each site, dark chocolate and espresso. A very big and chewy wine on the tongue with layers of dark berry fruit, black cherry currant berry fruit vanilla spice and dark mocha with a good backbone of acidity and a firm hand of tannins.
