2015 Feudi Di San Gregorio Greco di Tufo image

Feudi has 4 wineries at around 4 million bottles produced, everything is from their own vineyards, or 85% is from land they own and the rest of the wine is from contracted fruit but they control the vineyard's farming practices. They founded the winery in the 1980's and they did this to help the area after the earthquake and gave the farmers a place to sell their grapes. The Napoleonic code is responsible for the fragmentation of ownership in this area.

A slight briny character to the nose white pear and apple fruit, wet stone like mineral, pineapple citrus a note of honey coming out as the wine opens.  A nice creamy mineral laced texture on the tongue with sweet tart fruit and a nice minerality to the finish.  Finish 40+           Very Good +
