2012 Tait The Wild Ride Barossa

They produce around 15,000 cases, they have their own vineyards and different parts of the Barossa they are at Lindock. This is a blend of 60% Shiraz, 20% Grenache, 20% Mataro blend a bit lighter than the Ballbuster, this is the second vintage. This wine had a pretty nose milk chocolate, fresh berry pie like fruit with pretty floral notes very pretty a combination of American and French oak these are older seasoned barrels, 12 months. A very fresh and furity wine on the tongue, lots of juicy berry fruit with hints of fresh flowers and spice and a nice freshness to the finish big and fruity but still balanced. Finish 35+ 1500 cases produced Very Good +
