Bordeaux tasting at Cafe Maxx

Every year around this time I start to get nostalgic about Bordeaux as for several years in a row I made a pilgrimage to Bordeaux to taste the young wines from the newest vintage from the world's most prized wine region for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends. 

I have missed the last few years in favor of taking a vacation with the kids instead, they are 11 and 12 years old and this is the time that you can never get back with the little ones so my thinking is that Bordeaux will always be there and there are plenty of wine critics to cover the story that surrounds the Grand Cur tasting and the newest release of futures. 

Tonight we will sample through some of the first wines to arrive from the newly released 2012 and 2013 vintage whites and reds from Bordeaux along with some 2009, 2010 and 2011 vintage wines.  Chef Oliver Saucy will be sending out a few small treats to accompany the tasting wines and the fee for this event is $35 + tax + Gratuity.  For reservations call 954-523-9463.
