2012 Husic Chardonnay Sonoma Coast

This is Sullivan Vineyard Dutton Ranch 20 year old vines that have never been irrigated, this is the third vineyard that they have used since 2005, this is the second year they have used this source for their fruit, a more burgundian style clean and lean, with a good amount of lemon drop candy, creme brulee notes. This wine sees some new oak with a good amount of spice, cinnamon, vanilla bean but lots of fruit here also. Rich and creamy on the tongue with a smooth texture, a good amount of lemon drop candy with just the right touch of lightly toasted oak spice, lovely richness of fruit but also has a firm hand of acidity.
