2012 Donnaolimpia 1898 Vermentino Bolgheri

One of three estates owned by Guido Folanari and he is one of the three vintners to own wineries in Bolgheri, Barolo and Brunello di Montalino. The estate is only a few miles from the sea , only 40 producers in this small region. Vermentino is an aromatic varietal with aromas of orange blossom, fresh sea salt like mineral and fresh tree fruits, a hint of rosepmary on the nose. A floral note to the pear and apricot fruit with a zesty finish, light briny notes, very light and refreshing but has nice fruit in the mid palate. Finish 35+ Very Good +
