This Morgon hails from "La Voûte Saint-Vincent" vineyard and has a very distinct Soil of sandstone and disintegrated granite. The Gamay vines are an average of 45 years and they have a South East eposition on a small coteaux. Traditional vinification here with 50% of the grapes destemmed. Fermentation for 13 days in cuve, then aged 10 months in concrete tanks. A very strong perfumed floral note to the black raspberry, cranberry fruit with notes of crushed rock, some tannins here at the end, fine and chalky notes. Finish 35+ This was the only wine that did not get a vote for first or second at this tasting. Very Good +
