(91-93 Points) The 2012 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru, which as usual comes from vines aged between 15 and 25 years, which Francois Millet described as “young men,” has a self-effacing, floral bouquet with lifted brambly red berry fruit and hawthorn. The palate is a step up from the village cru: the tannins finer with more overall finesse and harmony. It builds gently towards a spice-tinged finish with just a hint of black pepper on the aftertaste. This is divine. eRobertParker.com #210, Dec 2013
