2012 Banfi ASKA Bolgheri Rosso

A blend of 97% Cabernet Sasuvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc 10 months in French oak and this is a new vineyard that they recently purchased, a good amount of dark berry fruit and violet floral notes very pretty, very well endowed bouquet has a bit of a green tea like note. A very plush and round wine on the tongue with thick and chewy fruit, smooth tannins turning a bit dry on the finish, a note of that green character from the nose, but pleanty of fruit here to match. finish 45+ Very Good
