2012 Asura Cabernet Sauvignon Napa

The fruit is from Mount Veeder 1900 foot elevation dry farmed vineyards, a bit of Cabernet Franc and Malbec in the blend of Wild cat and Saffron Vineyards fruit.  This diva from India, nice or evil, this new cult wine of Napa, has a good amount of cigar box spice, dark earth, espresso, currants and cassis berry fruit, very complex bouquet of aromas, very rich and forward bouquet.  Concentrated and rich on the tongue with layers of dark berry and currant fruit lots of earth and spice with a long finish, needs time but fairly drinkable for such a big young wine.  Finish 50+  Bottled 20 days ago     Most Excellent
