2012 AIA Vecchia Lagone Toscana

A blend of Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% and Cabernet Franc 10% a blend of fruit from both estates. A good amount of ripe berry and plum fruit with some sweet tobacco spice and a bit of toasty oak spice, 12 months in American and French oak. Total production is 250,000 bottles most of which is this cuvee. A good amount of rich ripe cassis and black cherry fruit with ripe round tannins, a nice touch of sweet tobacco spice and vanilla.
