2010 Figge Chardonnay Pelio Vineyard Monterey

This is the vineyard right next door to Talbott's Diamond T, the nose Asian pear and lemon citrus showing on the nose along with notes of fresh gravelly minerally flinty notes, crème caramel very exotic bouquet. A very tightly wound wine with lots of everything on the tongue and has a bit of tannins from the oak showing through the fruit along with a firm underbelly of acidity, this wine has chalky mineral notes to the finish. Finish 45 Lemon drop candy like aromas on the nose with firm acidity on the tongue very zesty and showing some nice spice and a note of salt on the finish. Most Excellent
