A fair amount of fresh plowed earth, roasted coffee, dark coco and black cherry and plum like fruit on the nose with a light touch of that Chilean herbaciousness. Smooth black cherry and black currant berry fruit on the tongue with sweet tobacco spice, roasted coffee notes and fine herbs showing up on the finish, notes of dark coco and fairly smooth and drinkable right out of the bottle, a very well balanced wine with excellent concentration and depth for a wine under $20.
