When it comes to the classics, the wines of France and Italy are hard to beat. In this box we have three great producers from three great vintages, the 2005 vintage from Burgundy may still need a little time for the whites but this Philippe Colin Deleger wine is now starting to drink at or near its peak. Poggio Di Sotto is one of the best Brunellos that I have tasted from this outstanding vintage. Pape Clement has become one of the hottest wines in Bordeaux the last few years and is one of the wines of the vintage in 2006. These wines will reward those with patience.
