New Times Broward*Palm Beach and Wine Watch proudly presents our 4th Annual food and wine pairing event, PAIRINGS. Pairings, a sophisticated event held at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, joins together signature culinary creations with an incredible selection of wines and craft brews along with the Broward and Palm Beach area’s top restaurants. This event not only celebrates the perfect pairing of food and beverage, but also benefits the Jack and Jill House. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, flavorful cuisine, a wide variety of drinks, a silent auction, and have the opportunity to give back to the community.

Included in the VIP ticket price is early entry to the event as the doors open to our VIP guests 1 hour before the event begins for everyone else. VIP guests will get a full hour to see the restaurants and wines that you want to see before the crowds arrive.
This year for the VIP we will also have a separate lounge area downstairs dedicated to servicing our VIP guests the entire evening. In addition to the 30+ wines that we will be serving this year at the VIP we will also have a selection of appetizers prepared by Chef Michael Saperstein and Toni Lampasone from Wine Watch Catering.
This VIP lounge will be open the entire evening, so along with early entry you will also have a space to get away from the rest of the crowd and relax in comfort. Along with Wine Watch Catering’s selections we will also be serving a selection of cheeses provided by Marky’s.

Jack & Jill Children's Center helps to break the cycle of poverty for children of low-income, working families in Broward County through family-oriented child care services and family intervention and support.

Jack & Jill Children's Center is a non-profit organization that provides family oriented early childhood education and support to strengthen working families of Broward County. The accredited program supports the intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of young children.
Jack & Jill Children's Center (formerly Jack & Jill Nursery) was founded in 1942 by the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale to provide child care for the children of working mothers whose husbands were at war. As the profile of families changed to more single parent households, more stringent requirements for government assistance and fewer support systems for families, Jack & Jill evolved to a community-based program with a community-based board of directors. Over the years, Jack & Jill has provided more than 13,000 children 1 million hours of child care.
Throughout our history, the mission and purpose of Jack & Jill has remained unchanged: to break the cycle of poverty for children of lower income working families in Broward County through the provision of family-oriented child care services and family intervention and support.
Jack & Jill now serves 170 children ages birth to five years old in our new, state-of-the-art Halmos Family Building. We are open year round, from 7:15am through 5:45pm to serve the needs of working parents. We realize to help a child we need to embrace and support the entire family.
