Silverado has been around so long that we sometimes forget how good these wines are and today they are 100% estate bottled and family owned. They have not purchased fruit since 2007 and the Miller family still owns this label. These two wines are in Screw cap which I would rather have over cheap cork or even worse plastic cork.  The whites are good but the reds (with the exception of the Sangiovese) were all excellent and some of the best wines in their price points that I have tasted this year, including the new iconic wine SOLO which replaced the Limited Reserve silver label wine that at one time rivaled some of the best made in Napa. This is an informative wine production highlighting the wines at the Wine Watch, in Fort Lauderdale. It is intended as a companion to Wine Watch Email offers.
