Marietta Cellars Old Vine Red

(89 Points) One of my perennial best buys is Marietta Cellars’ non-vintage blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah, Syrah and a few other varietals. The current example, the non-vintage Old Vine Red Lot 62, is a 90,000-case cuvée that represents one of the finest value-priced wines in the United States. It exhibits excellent color, beautiful ripeness, lots of black and red fruits, earth and spice, and a savory, juicy, hedonistic mouthful of medium-bodied wine.
