2017 Illumination Sauvignon Blanc Napa

A good amount of white grapefruit citrus and white peppercorn a bit of that musky onion skin like notes, 16% Semillion and they use the Muscat clone of Sauvignon with concrete fermentation vessels and Acacia barrels adding an herbal tea character to the wine.  Nice richness on the tongue with zesty mineral notes, savory grapefruit and a light musky quality coming through at the end, rich but has a bright zesty finish.  Finish 45+
