2009 Guigal Cote Rotie Chateau d'Ampuis

This wine has a good amount of roasted meat, violet and smoky notes with dark plum and a floral, very complex bouquet of aromas. Wow this wine has amazing richness and concnetration on the tongue of dark berry and plum fruit, that smoky meaty nuance from the nose and still has a ton of tannins here, coffee, toffee notes and a fresh rock granite like minerality on the finish, a little monster this wine needs some time but has all the right stuff and in proportion.
