2008 Domaine Gilles Troullier L'esprit du Temps Coites Catalanes

This is 100% Grenache, this owner was working with Chapoutier and made the wines at Bila Haut, has an intense grapey almost port like nose, 100 year old vines and is 15.5% alcohol. A big wine with lots of grape fruit and a zesty finish, showing a bit of heat at the end with some chalky tannins and pretty floral notes somewhat balanced with a bit of heat at the end.
