These vineyards have been in the family for 6 generations 1823, 63 hectares of vines and 60 in a long term lease, vineyards now the third most expensive area in Italy even Tuscany is not as expensive. The average age of the vines for this wines is  35 years old vines and this vineyard is on the east side of the valley so it gets early sun exposure,. 600 foot altitude high limestone, very distinct minerality, with fresh melon and white flowers on the nose, nice intensity.  Bright and focused on the tongue with a texture of whole milk, a solid core of melon and lime citrus fruit giving the wine wonderful freshness and a long mineral laced finish with the impression of effervescence at the end.  Finish 40+    Excellent
