They are the latest region in the north to do the harvest and this is one of the single vineyards, very steep 70% grade with days that can reach 120 degrees at a high thus the name "Hell", this wine also sees large oak casks for 2 years, all French oak. Has a good amount of dried herbs and exotic spices with red cherry fruit with some fresh plowed earth, truffle notes. Smooth and silky texture on the tongue with layers of minerality through the finish tongue tingly with notes of exotic spice to the end and some tannins here but nicely balanced with great structure. Finish 45+ Excellent
