2012 Chateau Ste. Michelle “Indian Wells” Merlot Columbia Valley image

2012 was a return to the “classic” Washington vintage and was a much welcomed change from the cooler 2010 and 2011 vintages for some vintners.  A good amount of ripe red cherry and plum fruit on the nose with highlights of sweet tobacco spice and milk chocolate.  Smooth and silky texture on the tongue with a good amount of dark cherry and plum fruit and a nice touch of spice, fine tannins.  Finish 40+    Very Good +
