2010 Flying Goat Pinot Gris Sierra Madre Santa Maria Valley

A very famous vineyard in this part of California, this wine is made in a more austere/Alsacian style, they source from 9 different vineyard sites fot his label. Asian pear, white peach/apricot fruit with notes of white flowers and wet stone like minerality on the nose, 4-5 hours of skin contact but they have moved this up to 24 hours with the new releases. A bright and fresh style of Pinot Gris with a nice hand of mineral and white floral notes to the pear and white pearch/ apricot fruit, lovely balance and a zesty finish. finish 35+ Excellent
