A blend of 75% Carnemere, 20% Syrah and 5% Carignan, this is from Cacapoal Valley their Peumo estate, which is the best region in Chile for the Carmenere varietal which is harvested in late May, has some of that roasted coffee, black pepper spice, tobacco and fresh black earth with minty herbal notes nice complexity on the nose with red and black berry cherry fruit adding to the bouquet. A good amount of that coffee and exotic spices and floral notes on the palate here along with a host of ripe black and red berry fruit very well balacned with a long finish, a firm hand of acidity holding things to gether nicely. Finish 45+ Excellent +
