2012 Lioco Chardonnay La Marisma vineyard

Mt Eden clones older vines, on native rootstock in sand just a few miles from the ocean thus the name salt water marsh, this is very cold and you notice that green pea like character, lime blossom notes and peach fruit with a nice hand of a wet stone and hints of lemon fruit loops. A very rich and well endowed wine on the tongue with bright fresh acidity and a solid core of fruit, bright zesty minerality through the finish, very long and layered, this wine has wonderful definition.
