This is not a single vineyard more of a brand, the term signifies the fog and is from the russian River, no ML here just like everything else in the line-up, this wine has a good amount of tree fruits, notes of vanilla bean crème brule, cinnamon spice and nutmeg, medium toast barrels, they use 50% new oak. This vintage they produced 8000-6pks of Chardonnay and this is the second vintage of this wine, the Pinot Noir EnRoute was created in 2007. They have been buying up land to help feed this label, they do buy some fruit but they bought Amber Ridge in 2007. Ripe tree fruits, green apple and peach like fruit with notes of vanilla bean spice, light toasty oak on the nose, very bright. A very crisp and balanced style while still maintaining the ripe tropical fruit that Russian River offers with a nice touch of toasty oak spice. Finish 45+ Excellent +
