2011 Hartford Court Chardonnay Stone Cote Vineyard Russian River

This wine is made from a select parcel of the Durell Vineyard and is one of the most intense of all the Chardonnays, the terroir here is uplifted river bed, very mineral driven and very well balanced with lots of nectarine, white peach and lemon drop candy fruit, crème caramel notes very rich. Rich and creamy on the tongue with lots of ripe fruit, tongue tingly minerality and that pretty floral nuance coming through on the finish, long and layered. Finish 45+     Most Excellent
