2009 OShea Scarborough Desolation Chardonnay Columbia Valley

This release is aged 18 months entirely in neutral oak with barrel fermentation. To capture the true chardonnay flavors, there was minimal lees stirring and racking. The wine was only allowed partial Malolatic fermentation (ML) to allow some richness, however to preserve the natural acidity found in the vineyard, it was not taken through full ML. If you like the true flavors of Chardonnay instead of oak and butter, this will be the wine for you. 276 cases produced.
